Top 5 Sundays

Top 5 Sundays is a weekly blog meme created by Larissa at Larissa's Bookish Life.

Here's a little info about the meme taken from Larissa's blog:

Every Sunday I will post a TOP 5 list on the blog. It can be about anything and every week I'll have a new theme {You can vote on next week’s theme on my left sidebar!} and I will ad the Mr.Linky bellow the post so you can do a list with the theme and add you link to it.

Rules:
1 - Write a post listing your TOP 5 choices within the theme I chose (or was chosen on a poll) for the week.
2 - Mention this Blog on the post and link back to it.
3 - Fell free to use the Feature's image (there is a smaller size version of it bellow)
4 - After you've finished your post, add you link (of the post, not your blog's main page) to the Mr.Linky at the end of that week's post.
5 – If you don’t have a blog to post, just leave your list in the comments =)

This week's topic is: FAVORITE UF X PNR BOOKS!

Uhhh...this one's harder for me. For the most part I believe I read UF and can never really tell if a book I read is PNR But I'll give it a try, if a series isn't exactly PNR, then please forgive my error! So these will be somewhat random I guess...

MIXED SUPERNATURAL CHARACTERS
PNR: Night Tracker Novels by Cheyenne McCray
UF: Jane True Series by Nicole Peeler

VAMPIRE HUNTERS
PNR: Gardella Vampire Chronicles by Colleen Gleason
UF: Dark Days Novels by Jocelynn Drake

FAE
PNR: MacKayla Lane Novels by Karen Marie Moning
UF: The Iron Fey Series by Julie Kagawa (YA)

NOT THE USUAL CREATURE
PNR: Georgina Kincaid Series by Richelle Mead (Succubus)
UF: Shades of Fury Novels by Kasey MacKenzie (Furies)

SERIES THAT I HAVEN'T STARTED YET, BUT PLAN TO
(So I'm taking a guess to their genre)
PNR: Southern Witch Novels by Kimberly Frost
UF: Past Midnight Series by Mara Purnhagen (YA)

Like I said, I mostly read UF rather than PNR and I had to take a guess at these. If they appear to be all UF, then it is likely that they are since I consider myself a UF reader and can't really tell when I'm reading PNR.

  2. What a great list, I had a little trouble with choosing which book would be paranormal romance and which book would be urban fantasy. Have a great sunday

  3. Great list!

Past Midnight isn't really UF though. It's kinda hard to explain. It's sort of like Ghost Whisper or Ghost Hunters, not really UF. It was a decent read though. :)
