My Conundrum

Why I Want to See This Movie:

  • Chris Hemsworth!!
  • It's a fairy tale retelling
  • And since it's a Grimm tale, it's going to be a dark seedy kind!
  • There looks like there's a lot of action!
  • And did I mention Chris Hemsworth?

Why I Cannot and Will Not See This Movie:

  • The initials are K.S.

Don't think that needs much explaining! The previews are looking freaking awesome! And it really does look like an incredible movie. Except I cannot stand Kirsten Stewart's acting. So upset that they casted her in this role. Seriously, nearly anyone else in this role and I would've seen it. Just probably 2 other cannot do actresses. But yeah. It's upsetting, but what can you do?

Okay, I'm done! Sorry, had to get that rant off my chest and what better place to do it than my blog! Feel free to agree or disagree with me, I don't begrudge anyone their opinion, so just don't begrudge me either! ;)

  1. I'm still debating on this one because I also can't stand K.S. Ugh. Horrible acting. I'm sure she's a lovely person IRL, but I can't handle her onscreen. With that, Chris Hemsworth. He *might* make up for K.S., but I'll wait and Redbox it if I decide to see it.

  2. I have to say that I have the same problem. I have been looking forward to seeing this movie since I found out that it was being made, but when I saw the preview with K.S. in it a couple of weeks ago at the movie theater, I almost threw my drink at the screen I was so upset. Who knows? Maybe she'll do a fantastic job. But...I have my doubts.

  3. The ads on TV are enough to entice me. Have no clue what it's about specifically, but looks exciting. Hope you enjoy!!

  4. I KNOW EXACTLY HOW YOU FEEL. Seriously, when I first saw this it was like, Holy crap this looks so freaking awesometastic and I just can't wait to - WAIT. Is that...oh God, it is. Um, buzzkill...

I'm still going to see it, just because everything else looks so awesome that I'm hoping it will overpower her epically horrific acting. Hopefully.

  5. I was so upset when I realized it was her.

    But Chris Hemsworth!

I'm probably going to see it. It's being marketed really well and my will power is fading.

    And Chris Hemsworth!

  6. I feel the same way. But I'll suffer through her acting to see Chris Hemsworth. He would make it completely bearable.lol

  7. Just saw it today and I really liked it. Not the best movie I have ever seen but the scenery was beautiful as was Chris Hemsworth (yummy)! I didn't hate K.S. as much as I thought I would (one of the girls I was with did though) I wish no one had ever pointed out that she never closes her mouth. I probably wouldn't have but oh well. It was definitely worth going to see because there is no way I would have realized how gorgeous everything was on my 47" t.v. Just my opinion for you:) IF you change your mind and head out to see it I hope you can enjoy it despite K.S.

  8. Bah I hate the twilight chick...I'm boycotting because of her. Though I love Charlise Theron. I didn't even notice Chris Hemsworth really til lately. Still not getting me to go pay to watch Kirsten Stewart. I'm such a punk I know...so I'll wait til it comes to cable. Now Avengers muuwhahah I watched that oh yeah baby.
