I'm on Twitter Y'all!!

Yes, I have finally decided to join Twitter! It's all due to me getting a new cell phone with internet! Yup, I am officially up to date on cell phone technology! As my old phone did not have any such thing! And it was only 3 years old! Sad...

So yes, I have a shiny new phone that I am still getting use to and playing around with and I set up a Twitter account first thing!

Which is another thing I am still getting use to. I haven't tweeted anything yet, but will eventually as I get the hang of things! I am not technology apt, so bare with me!

And in honor of being on Twitter, how about a contest???

This will be open to anyone and everyone as long as The Book Depository will ship to you!

  3. Tweeting is an art form...or not! You just flow with the conversation, and talk about any ole think you like. Can even be about the weather, what you are having for lunch, whatever! There are no rules!

  4. You can Tweet anything or everything! I Tweet authors all the time and it's the best feeling ever when they Tweet back. Have fun with it!

  5. I tweet by PC (no smartphone) so my tweets are generally just for contest entries or to publicize my blog.

After I make a new post to my blog, I tweet it by clicking the Twitter link for the post. I often tweet the author, when I review a book or post a WOW. As Ems says, it's a blast when the authors respond!

  6. I tweet limited offers and contests, and I pimp books. By now I follow too many tweeters so I can´t read all tweets, I focus more on tweets directed @ me. I guess making lists and sorting all my tweet-followers would be a great idea. But when would I have the time for that? LOL I rather read more books.

Welcome to Twitter! Hope you enjoy.

  9. LOL I got a twitter account just so I could tweet about contests, Jessica. But now I use it to direct people to my blog for reviews, etc. And sometimes, when I'm reading a really good book, I'll tweet quotes from it. It's kinda fun now that I've gotten the hang of it. See ya on Twitter! :)

  12. You can tweet about anything you want :) Your blog posts, to tweet about contests, something funny, pictures, just about anything you'd like to share :) It's also fun when there's an event going on, no matter if it's an award show or some other event or a read-a-thon, and it's fun joining in :) So, whatever you want :) I actually more read other people's tweets than tweet myself, but it can definitely be addicting :) I hope you'll have fun!
