Stacking the Shelves

This weekly meme is hosted by Tynga's Reviews.

Stacking The Shelves is all about the books we are adding to our shelves each week, sharing with you our excitement for our newest titles and maybe have you discover a new book in the process!

Wow! I didn't realize how much I got this week until I started writing up this post! As you all know by now I am MIA in NOLA gearing up for RT 2014! So my next STS post won't happen until the following week upon my return.

Anyway here's what I bought:

 Maleficent adapted by Elizabeth Rudnick*
Sleep No More by Aprilynne Pike**
The Warrior by Victoria Scott
Peter Pan by J.M Barrie***
Frankenstein by Mary Shelley***

*Saw this one while browsing at Target, as I always look at books wherever I go! It was totally new to me! I am so looking forward to the movie and the movie adaptation books sometimes have more to the story than what you see in the movie, so I bought! Total impulse buy! What a way to star the week!

**Another impulse buy from the previous weekend. Ordered it online after seeing it in the bookstore!

***Alright, this past weekend I had more B&N coupons and for whatever reason I decided I wanted to finally read the story Peter Pan! Then on Monday I was sent ANOTHER coupon for online only and I decided that I might give Frankenstein a go because I looove the cover B&N did with their classic editions!

For review from Netgalley I got:

A Curse Awakened by Cecy Robson (ARC)

THANK YOU Loveswept & Netgalley!

Then my best friend ever, Sandra from Waiting for Wentworth loaned me her ARC of:

Get Even by Gretchen McNeil (ARC)

THANK YOU Sandra!!

And then I bought a few more jewelry pieces from Hebel Design when she was having a sale! Finally got me some Iron Fey jewelry goodness:

Meghan's Pendant Necklace
Realms Bracelet

I absolutely love them both! But silly me I forgot to buy a chain for my charm, so I'll have to go Kohl's at some point and buy another! But both are extremely beautiful and I love them! Hebel Design is one of my favorite jewelry shops for all things bookish!

And that my lovelies is my haul! Quite a feat and I can only imagine what my next one will look like at RT! My poor credit card! I fear the upcoming bill already! ;)

  4. Ooh, Maleficent! I want to see the movie, but sadly I don't do novel adaptations of films, only the other way around.
