Top 5 Sundays

Top 5 Sundays is a weekly blog meme created by Larissa at Larissa and Friends' Bookish Life.

Every Sunday I will post a TOP 5 list on the blog. It can be about anything and every week I'll have a new theme {You can vote on next week’s theme on my left sidebar!} and I will ad the Mr.Linky bellow the post so you can do a list with the theme and add you link to it.

Rules:
1 - Write a post listing your TOP 5 choices within the theme I chose (or was chosen on a poll) for the week.
2 - Mention this Blog on the post and link back to it.
3 - Feel free to use the Feature's image (there is a smaller size version of it bellow)
4 - After you've finished your post, add you link (of the post, not your blog's main page) to the Mr.Linky at the end of that week's post.
5 – If you don’t have a blog to post, just leave your list in the comments =)

This week's topic is: Most Awaited Books {2nd Half 2014}

*in no particular order

GATHERING DARKNESS
by Morgan Rhodes

OOOOOOOMG! I just started this series this year, bought the books when they initially released but you know how it is when it comes time to read them! But basically I fell in LOVE with this series! I ate those books up and cursed myself for waiting so long and not waiting until I at least had one more to read back to back! December, hurry up! ;)

 SEVENTH GRAVE AND NO BODY
by Darynda Jones

I loooove this series! Charley is just so freaking funny! And Reyes, oh my! And we get 2 books this year! Eep! Although there's that tiny fear in me asking, what's going to happen next year?! When do we get book 8?! Why did we get 2 books this year?! See, I can't even enjoy a good thing because I'm worried about the future. :/

QUEEN OF ZOMBIE HEARTS
by Gena Showalter

Another series that I just love! (Still sadden that Intertwined is basically AWOL, :( ) But this series is still tremendous! Cannot wait to see how it all ends!

RED BLOODED
by Amanda Carlson

I love this series as well! Cannot wait to see what happens next! I feel like these characters have yet the chance to breathe with all the chaos that keeps happening!

STONE COLD TOUCH
by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Seriously, when am I NOT waiting desperately and impatiently for a JLA book?! She just amazes me with all that she can do and does! This one is no different! Based on some tweets I tried not to read when others were reading their ARCs, this one is definitely going to be a game changer!

Bonus Pick:

Just to make things even with YA and adult books, here's one more adult book that I cannot wait to read:

The Witch with No Name
by Kim Harrison

OMG! The final book is almost here!! This is the series that I started when I began reading adult UF--since Paranormal YA had yet to be acknowledged yet--and now it's over!! It's really a bittersweet moment. One, you don't want the series to end, but then Two, you don't want it to needlessly drag out.

I must say that I do love this cover and how we're once again seeing Rachel from behind, just like the first cover. We've come full circle!

  1. Great list! If I made a top 5 list (I keep forget to participate in this meme), both Red Blooded & The Queen of Zombie Hearts would've been on it. The rest 3 would be Chima's The Sorcerer Heir, Jonathan Stroud's The Whispering Skull (I actually have eARC, need to read it) & Gena Showalter's The Darkest Touch.

  2. I can't believe the Harrison series is ending. I have the first on my eReader and am just about to start. I'm feeling really behind the times.

Comments are an award all on their own! So my blog is an award free one! Thanks for any consideration though!
