Teaser & Top Ten Tuesdays

http://shouldbereading.wordpress.com/
Here are the rules:
1. Grab your current read

2. Open to a page
3. Pick out 2 lines that are SPOILER FREE
4. Name the title, author, etc

I totally LOL'd at this one and couldn't agree more with Clay's statement! A little inside information that's not mentioned in the teaser, Clay and Elena are in ST. LOUIS!

"But there was also something to be said for skipping the whole 'track, capture, and maim' part and being able to go straight to a hotel room, and lock the door. Still, we could only stay in there for so long before we got restless, and when we came out, we'd discovered the problem with our honeymoon destination: there wasn't a helluva lot to do." Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. This feature was created because we are particularly fond of lists here at The Broke and the Bookish. We'd love to share our lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see your top ten lists!

Each week we will post a new Top Ten list  that one of our bloggers here at The Broke and the Bookish will answer. Everyone is welcome to join. All we ask is that you link back to The Broke and the Bookish on your own Top Ten Tuesday post AND add your name to the Linky widget so that everyone can check out other bloggers lists! If you don't have a blog, just post your answers as a comment. Have fun with it! It's a fun way to get to know your fellow bloggers.

This week's topic is: Top New Series I Want To Start (New..GOING TO JUST MAKE THAT NEW TO ME)

*in no particular order

 1. MYTHOS ACADEMY SERIES by Jennifer Estep--I have books 1-4 & 6 waiting in my TBR Mountain of Doom! Got all of them at RT over the past few years, sadly 5 was never available or sold, so once I start it I need to buy that one!
2. NIKKI STYX SERIES by Terri Garey--I have all 4 of these in that same pile there! Bought them at a Borders closing sale (le sob!).
3. THE GRISHA TRILOGY by Leigh Bardugo--as you can see, I'm about to start this series after knocking out a review book or two since I got behind!

4. SPLINTERED TRILOGY by A.G. Howard--have books 1 & 2 waiting in the ol' TBR Mountain of Doom still too! Won those earlier this year and really do want to read it!
5. GARGOYLES SERIES by Christine Warren--love a good gargoyle story! Started reading her Others series--and still need to finish it--but I bought the first two in this series because they were on sale! Can't pass up those $5 sales for MMPB!
6. DOON SERIES by Carey Corp & Lorie Langdon--read a review of the first one and then bought it as a kindle daily deal and then last week I won the second book! So need to get started on that one too!

7. PAX ARCANA SERIES by Elliot James--one I picked up this year on sale. It sounded intriguing and I am eager to start it!
8. BANNON & CLARE SERIES by Lilith Saintcrow--have read her previous books and have always enjoyed them. So eager to read this one! Have the first 2 books in that series as well!
9. THE GUARDIANS OF THE NIGHT SERIES by Jenna Black--didn't realize that this was a reprinted series until I looked it up! Just saw her name and bought the first book at RT this year! Eager to start it as well since I loved her Morgan Kinglsey series, Faeriewalker trilogy, Replica trilogy, & Nikki Glass books!

10. ASHES DUOLOGY by Melissa C. Walker--a duology I still need to start as well, but own this one! It sounded intriguing and I love a good ghost "story" so it was bought and still needs reading!
