Stacking the Shelves--2 Weeks Worth!!

This weekly meme is hosted by Tynga's Reviews.

Stacking The Shelves is all about the books we are adding to our shelves each week, sharing with you our excitement for our newest titles and maybe have you discover a new book in the process!

Wow! These have been insane two weeks! Plus I had YALL Fest and I guess you can say I am quite proud for not buying MORE books while I was there! That was quite the insane day!

So here's what I bought last week and this week:

Waistcoats & Weaponry by Gail Carriger
Broken by Marianne Curley--keeper copy/read!
A Thousand Pieces of You by Claudia Gray--keeper copy/read!
Hemlock by Kathleen Peacock--keeper copy/read/BARGAIN!--and I realized just now I ALREADY HAD THIS ONE!! Expect a giveaway soon!
The Witch Must Burn by Danielle Paige
Gifted by Kelley Armstrong
The Retribution of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin--DOUBLED SIGNED!
Seventh Grave and No Body by Darynda Jones--SIGNED!
Written in Red by Anne Bishop--Jessi at Novel Heartbeat had a review that just totally convinced me to buy it! So I did!

What I received for review:

City of Eternal Night by Kristen Painter (EARLY COPY)--already halfway read!
Captive by Aimee Carter (ARC)--already read/reviewed!

THANK YOU Kristen, Orbit, Harlequin Teen, & Netgalley!

What I won:

A copy of Atlantia by Ally Condie + Necklaces for Above & Below!

*while at YALL Fest I had Ally sign the book as well! Yay signed books!

THANK YOU Reading Lark!

Then not bookish but still AWESOME, here are a few other things I picked up over the past 2 weeks:

Sam & Dean's Impala--because seriously, how have I NOT had this yet?!
Funko POP figures of Anna--as my friend Amber from Du Livre pointed out, I need her to go with Elsa!
and of course, Ralphie in his Pink Nightmare outfit to be in my room at Xmas time...aka NOW! :D

Then when shopping online at Disney Store--a dangerous time during a sale + COUPON! I picked up:
a baby Tick Tock aka the Crocodile from Tinkerbell & the Pirate Fairy AKA the Crocodile from Peter Pan as a BABY!!
one of the bunnies that borrowed Prince Phillip's boot to dance with Briar Rose (for she wasn't Aurora at that time!)
Jim Shore Christmas Tinkerbell! She came from the same Disney order with the guys above! Coupons people, they are DEADLY!

an infinity necklace from Space Pearls--LOVE it! Yup, had a coupon for this too!
Layla's ring-necklace from Jennifer L. Armentrout's Dark Elements Series designed by Hebel Design! (I have one piece of both Jennifer's series jewelry and Dark Elements was the last one I needed to get!) And yup, another coupon! All about the savings!

For as my mom used to say, we're saving ourselves right into the poor house! ;)

And now that my wallet is empty, that's about all I got! Quite a lot, but it is 2 weeks worth! Soooo....what did you all get?

  1. Awesome haul! The Retribution of Mara Dyer is one sitting on my shelf waiting to be read :) I really need to read Dorothy Must Die because the cover for the sequel is super cool. And oh my gosh, Layla's necklace!!! I just read The Dark Elements Series (well the first 2) and now I am obsessed with them – not surprising since JLA is freaking epic ;) Thanks for the link to that, I am definitely checking it out :)

    Happy reading!

  4. WRITTEN IN RED!!! You'll have to let me know what you think :D
I am sooo totally jealous of your signed copy of Retribution! I love the quote she wrote, too! I need to get my hands on that book. I wasn't a fan of the first, but the second was amazing...can't wait to see how it ends! Sadly my library doesn't have it - I put in a request for them to get it but I may end up having to buy it. Where did you get yours signed??

Yay for Funkos!! I need to get all the Frozen characters. I have Sven and that's it :(

I've been seeing many people reading that book and absolutely loving it, though I'm really sad for the series to end because it's so amazing. :/ I hope you enjoy your books! :)

  10. Great haul, I just started book one of The Finishing School series, so far it's pretty good. I also have Broken that I need to read and I am hoping I get selected to read Captive on Netgalley I haven't got a yes from that yet. :( If you have already read it then I am really curious as to how you liked it? I enjoyed Pawn but it wasn't like WOW..so is the second one better? Or about the same?

    Have a great week!
