Leigh Bardugo Event Recap +CONTEST

Hey all! So this past Wednesday Leigh Bardugo actually CAME to ST. LOUIS!! I was shocked and amazed and thrilled!

So naturally, I got there two and half hours early with some friends! LOL! And besides the amazing author, and actual activities and COOKIES at the event, there were also LIVE CROWS!

There were three of them, but they were also very fidgety. They wouldn't sit still for a picture! LOL. But yeah, here were two of them. And the one of the left is actually one of the big movers!

The event was awesome! And naturally, I had to buy a second copy from the bookseller there, because I have a job!! And I wanted to giveaway a SIGNED copy of Six of Crows to someone who may not be able to attend a tour stop!

Leigh was very fun to listen to! She read a poem she wrote from when she was 11, and it was quite entertaining! Heehee. I'm scared to even look at my "poetry" from when I was 11!

And if you look closely enough you can see I'm wearing my Morozova collar from Hebeldesign! Even saw another reader wearing one too!!

And now for the contest, one US reader (I plan to put together a INT giveaway soon, peeps. Just gotta get a handle on a few more financial things) will win a SIGNED copy of Six of Crows!!

  3. I should be receiving my copy in the mail tomorrow. I'm purposely not entering your giveaway because I will be seeing her at YALLFest in November! (so bloody excited!) And I don't want to take the chance away from someone else.

  7. It sounds soooo good! I want to review it for our blog! AND, if I'm lucky enough to win it, after I read it, I'd donate it to my local library. I've already checked and they don't have a copy... so others would discover it's awesomeness too!
