Teaser & Top Ten Tuesdays

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by Purple Princess of The Purple Booker.

Here are the rules:

1. Grab your current read
2. Open to a page
3. Pick out 2 lines that are SPOILER FREE
4. Name the title, author, etc.

OOOMG! I am LOVING Into the Fire!! It's been too long since I've been with Jeaniene's vampires! And one of my most favorite ones makes an appearance in this story! Check out the teasers for a hint!

"Mencheres gave Vlad a look of grim amusement. 'Oh you know him. And you dislike him even more than Bones.'" p 32

Any guesses? ;) And because I couldn't leave it at one teaser, here's another:

"'I don't,' Ian agreed with a laugh. 'But I've been wrong before. Think it was on a Tuesday.'" p 107

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. This feature was created because we are particularly fond of lists here at The Broke and the Bookish. We'd love to share our lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see your top ten lists!

Each week we will post a new Top Ten list  that one of our bloggers here at The Broke and the Bookish will answer. Everyone is welcome to join. All we ask is that you link back to The Broke and the Bookish on your own Top Ten Tuesday post AND add your name to the Linky widget so that everyone can check out other bloggers lists! If you don't have a blog, just post your answers as a comment. Have fun with it! It's a fun way to get to know your fellow bloggers.

  1. Wow!! I don't own a single duplicate copy... Guess I'd better get working on my collection! :)

  2. Why do you own so many duplicate copies? And, where do you keep them? I do have some duplicates, i.e. hardcover and paperback but they are few and far between. I have tended recently to buy Kindle copies so that I can get rid of duplicate print copies. Even with a lot of shelves, I don't have enough to keep many duplicates.

  3. Oh my goodness I love the teaser about being wrong!

Duplicate copies are hard for me, mine are typically only those signed by the author and then the kindle editions.

  4. Wow!, I think the only book I own more than one copy is Lola and the boy next door and a book by Cassandra Clare....I don´t remember which.

  5. I enjoyed your teasers - thank you for sharing:). As for duplicate books - we do have the occasional duplicate, but it tends to be an accident! My TT this week - https://sjhigbee.wordpress.com/2017/07/25/teaser-tuesday-25th-july-2017/

  6. I only own multiples of Huckleberry Finn, including an annotated edition, and two boxed sets of Harry Potter. I really didn't want to spend the $$$ on the one I wanted, so I settled for the mass Scholastic covers (the one you featured), but then the next year the price had dropped quite a bit so I bought the one I REALLY wanted. I'm going to give the first one to my mom for her birthday.
