COVER REVEAL--The Shadow by Marianne Curley

It's coming, you guys!! It's coming! I don't know when, but soon!!!

I'm not sure if I've ever mentioned it before, but Marianne Curley was one of my all time favorite authors back in the day! Those lonely dark days, where one couldn't find a paranormal book in the YA section. Then one day I stumbled upon a book, it was called Old Magic! It was about a (teenage) boy with a curse on his family, one that stretched back ages yet he never believed in it. Then he meets a girl at his school who happens to be a witch. When her witchy grandmother proposes that in order to save his brother, they could travel back in time to when the curse was cast and stop the sorcerer who did it! Yup, there's TIME TRAVEL!

Long story short, I fell in love with this book! I read it a dozen times or so in those loooong intervals with no new reads. And then it happened, Marianne released a new series! A new series involving magic and time travel and the guardians who will do everything to protect it! And that's where this new book comes in!

The Guardians of Time was initially a trilogy, but now it's being resurrected! That means, this fourth book takes place after the third one, which I remembered ended with a whole lot of chaos and whole whopper of feels! I plan to do a re-read of the first three books once I know when this fourth installment comes out, so I can relive those moments and you know actually remember everything before this new installment! For now, I'll give you those titles and goodreads links:

The Named
The Dark
The Key

And now for the reveal of The Shadow, the fourth book in the Guardians of Time series....

This cover was actually designed by Marianne's daughter, Danielle! It seems right at home with the original US hardcovers if I do say so myself (and to see those covers, click the links I gave you above! Me being me, I linked to the edition of the book that I owned!)!

There's still no official release date, not that Marianne can say just yet. But she is saying soon, very soon!! And I am freaking ecstatic!! Sadly, I won't be able to own a hardcover to go with my other beauties, but I will happily take a paperback/real book any day!

  1. I haven't heard of this series, but I love that cover! It's also fun when you think a series is over and then suddenly THERE IS MORE.
