Stacking the Shelves

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! The meme is now hosted by Tynga's Reviews and Reading Reality.

Compared to last week, this week was pretty awesome! Sure real life wise it was dull and blah...but book wise? It was awesome!!

Here's what I bought this week:

This Fallen Prey by Kelley Armstrong--a keeper copy that I finally bought since I had a super awesome B&N coupon!
The Dark Calling by Kresley Cole--it finally arrived after a harrowing 48 hours trying to figure out why Amazon hadn't shipped it!
The Traitor Prince by C.J. Redwine
Sightwitch by Susan Dennard
Sinister Summer by Colleen Gleason
Sinister Secrets by Colleen Gleason
Scooby Apocalypse #22 by Keith Giffen

Then for review from the publisher and author, I received:

Lake Silence by Anne Bishop (Early Copy)
Potions and Fangs by Alyssa Rose Ivy & Jennifer Snyder (ARC)--already read, loved, and reviewed!
Brightly Burning by Alexa Donne (ARC)
Legendary by Stephanie Garber (ARC)

THANK YOU Ace Books, Alyssa, HMH Teen, & Flatiron Books!

Then I got some preorder swag this week as well:

The top picture is a signed book plate from A.C. Gaughen for being on the Street Team for Reign the Earth! That came as a pleasant surprise!
Then the bottom picture is the awesome tarot deck from The Hazel Wood Preorder! Very cool indeed!
THANK YOU Bloomsbury & Flatiron Books!!
Then I also got my Owl Crate box this weekend! I had already guessed the book, but naturally someone started spoiling it on Twitter by asking for it again. Sigh...

Then I also bought 2 Tervis cups which, I bought two mostly because that's what it took to get free shipping! Lol! So naturally, a few days after I purchased they send me an email that says FREE SHIPPING with no limits! Typical!! Though they did send me the wrong color lid and after emailing they said they'd send the right one, though when I got the "new" email I am fearful they are sending the WRONG color AGAIN because it's the exact same wordage of the previous lid that was WRONG! Oi vey.

Here's the first cup at all the angles! It says My Weekend is Booked! And naturally, there's books all over it! I LOVE it!! It's about time Tervis did another booklover's cup!

Here's the second one! It's the live action Beauty and the Beast one with the rose! On one side is the rose itself, the other is the glass cloche. When you look at it with the glass cloche, it looks like the rose is inside it!

I had ordered a pink/rose-ish colored lid. They sent me a BLACK one. Black. As in a color that's not on this cup whatsoever! Errg. If they send me yet another black one I am going to totally lose it! Lol!

And that was my haul this week! Pretty good with the exception of the whole lid mix-up thing mentioned above! What did you all get?

  1. Ahh, people just do not get the hint about not spoiling the book sub box books, do they! Well, it was lucky that you already had guessed the book this time. (What did you think of the exclusive cover of this one?)
I love the tervis cups!! The bookish ones are too cute! I only own one---an Alice in Wonderland one, and i love it!
That tarot deck is also very cool!

  2. That HMH bag is so awesome. *jealous*. I need to get a copy of Sightwitch, because I had only gotten the preview through NG (still bitter about that). I have been seeing the Kelley Armstrong book quite a bit, and it is always attached to good things. Hope you enjoy all your new books!

  4. Sounds like you are going to be very busy with your reading! And be able to have a drink from one of your cups while you read!

  5. I just bought The Traitor Prince, so it isn't in this week's StS, but I'm crossing my fingers it's good.

Hope you enjoy your new books!

  6. I need to get the Kelley Armstrong series ASAP. Two of my friends love that series, so I need to see what the fuss is all about. Traitor Prince is out already???? I had no idea ...

  7. Wow! What a cool bunch of book merch, and books! I am so envious that you got Legendary! I wasn't approved on NetGalley. Did you get your copy straight from the publisher?I only get my ARCs through NetGalley and Edelweiss. I haven't gotten up the nerve to try and connect with publishers directly, yet. Have a wonderful week of reading.
