GENRE: YA Fantasy
RELEASE DATE: October 8, 2019

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

Today's topic is: Character Freebie: Top Ten Characters That Made Me LOL!

*in no particular order

10. PUCK (The Iron Fey Series)--Puck was definitely the jokester in the group! While he could be serious, I found his antics to be hilarious! Especially when he liked to give Ash a hard time!
9. JANCO (The Study Series)--Janco and Ari are my most favorite duo when it comes to secondary characters! While Ari is the brains, Janco is the heart...and comedic relief! He always had a way to him that he can joke his way out of danger by annoying his enemy and then striking when their guard was down! Lol.
8. JENKS (The Hollows Series)--Jenks was without a doubt the most sarcastic and badass pixie there ever was! He put Tinkerbell's sass to shame, but don't ever try to compare the two!

7. ROTH (The Dark Elements Trilogy)--Roth was definitely a character that made me laugh! He was the bad boy, but man, his jokes were pretty funny!
6. SOPHIE (Hex Hall Trilogy)--kicking it old school with this one! I just remember Sophie being a character that had me loling a lot when I read the series!
5. OBERON (The Iron Druid Series)--a series that I STILL need to finish and it's been sooo long! Oberon isn't what you would expect. In fact, he's an Irish Wolfhound and Atticus, his human owner, can communicate with him psychically. So their conversations are pretty hilarious! Oberon says exactly what you would expect of a dog!

4. JACKAL (Blood of Eden Trilogy)--Jackal was a complicated character. He might have been a villain at first, but by the end, he was something else. All along though, he was still pretty funny! He was more an antagonist like character, one to drive the heroine crazy rather than being a true villain!
3. DAEMON (Lux Series)--like I could actually leave him out of this topic! Daemon had a nice sarcastic attitude to him as well and always had me laughing!
2. TELLA (Caraval Trilogy)--gotta love Tella too! In a different world I think she and Daemon might have gotten along splendidly! Lol. Probably only as friends though since their attitude is too similar! Tella was never afraid to speak her mind and it often led to arguments with Dante that had me cracking up!

1. CHARLEY (Charley Davidson Series)--Charley definitely earns the place of honor in the first spot! She was a riot! I loved this woman! She was hilarious. I swear she would be my best friend in real life! She had a wicked sense of humor and my face was always beet red when I read this series from all the laughing!

  1. Oberon definitely steals the show in the Iron Druid series. I honestly liked that
awesome doggy better than I did Atticus, lol!

  2. Jack was a funny character despite his dark start and he actually became "the light" of the group for me because he's such a comedian.

And I'm excited to get to meet Roth in TDE. I haven't read that one yet though I've read its spin-off, The Harbinger, first and he made me laugh there.

  4. Oberon sounds pretty awesome, and I've heard lots of good things about that series. I've only read one book by Hearne but I really liked it!

  5. Puck was great, though, I hated how he got swallowed in that triangle. Hex Hall is kicking it old school, but I remember that series fondly. Still sad Hawkins never went back to the spin-off

  7. OMG I adored Jackal! He was laugh out loud funny! And with you on Puck, Roth, and Daemon too. They were all great.
