GENRE: New Adult Paranormal

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

This week's topic is: FREEBIE: Top Ten Wintery Reads

*only slightly different from last week's altered theme. This one has winter happening in the book!
**in no particular order

10. STEALING SNOW by Danielle Paige--I've given up on a sequel. I guess it just didn't do well.
9. COLD FALLING WHITE by G.S. Prendergast--I mean with that title and that cover...there almost has to be snow in the story? Right? I still need to read this one! Lol!
8. WINTERWOOD by Shea Ernshaw--another one by title and cover that gives off a winter vibe!

7. SALT & STONE by Victoria Scott--been ages since I read it, but there was snow! That much I remember and the cover helped too! Lol!
6. AT GRAVE'S END by Jeaniene Frost--another winter themed background with this one! Gotta love the helpful covers...plus I do remember a big battle in a snowy forest!
5. A CURSE SO DARK AND LONELY by Brigid Kemmerer--memory totally shot with this one, but I feel like it had winter in it? Right? I mean the original and Disney version did...so this one had to...right? Lol.

4. AN ICE COLD GRAVE by Charlaine Harris--you can tell that winter has a place in this one!
3. BEAST by Lisa Jensen--another B&tB retelling, so there's some resemblance of winter taking place!
2. A DARKNESS ABSOLUTE by Kelley Armstrong--more wintry settings with eerie mysteries!

1. FROSTBITTEN by Kelley Armstrong--doesn't get more wintry than an Alaskan setting!

  3. Funny---when I saw A Curse So Dark and Lonely on the list, I was thinking, "Did that one have winter? I can't remember." But you're right that I definitely associate the Disney version with winter! :-)

  7. I like wintry settings, no matter what the genre. They make cozy stories feel more cozy and mystery/thrillers/horror feel more eerie.

    Happy TTT!
