The earth's magnetic poles move slowly over time and flip every few hundred thousand years. It's due to happen again soon (as of 2017, whether it happened already or not, I cannot say!).

If every boat, ship, and submarine from the oceans were removed, the sea level would only rise about the width of a human hair.

Did you know that female koalas have two vaginas?

Some animals, like elephants are about to smell water from miles away. Although, it's also possible that they are able to detect the smell of plants and animals nearby that linger near water and that's what actually leads them to water.


Still, that's pretty smart either way!

Dogs were the first animal to be domesticated over 12,000 years ago. Most people think cats would be first, but they aren't. In fact, goats predate cats by being domesticated 10,000 years ago.


So that's why my late grandpa's late cat was always so mean! Lol!
