Today we'll learn a few potpourri type facts from True Facts That Sound Like Bull$#*t by Shane Carley. I feel like I enjoy these more. Ones that aren't geared toward a specific sport, yet I will still share a few that are specific sport related as well!

Did you know that Albuquerque has a hot air balloon festival where around 500 balloonist participate?

Did you know a city in Scotland hosts an annual cheese rolling festival? Players chase wheels of cheese down a hill and they attempt to catch the cheese. The hill is so steep that the cheese can roll over 50 mph, so very few people can actually catch one!

In 2008, Ryohei Masuda set the record for fastest knockout in boxing at 2 seconds.

NFL player Chad Johnson once challenged a horse to a race on a reality TV show. He won too!

Jai Alai is a game in which the ball can be thrown at speeds over 175 mph. The sport markets itself as "the fastest sport in the world."
