Stacking the Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. Another week is in the books. I wish I could say work has calmed down, but it kind of hasn't yet. I mean, it has slowed down in some ways, but then I still feel pretty busy throughout the day, all day, everyday! So it's been pretty exhausting lately. I'm ready for a break, but I've never been one to take a full week off. I just take a day here or maybe two there. But yeah. Yesterday, I drove up to Bloomington, IL (about 2.5 hours for me, which is better than the 4+ hours I drove last weekend for Naperville, IL) to see Christina Henry! I hadn't seen her in a good amount of years and thought this was the perfect chance since it was a shorter trip, it was a Saturday, and a daytime signing at that! It was really nice! She remembered me, which is still a feeling that never gets old! Sadly on the way home, something came flying down the highway as I was driving and I later discovered that whatever I heard hit my car, took off the top part of my side mirror. SUPER aggravating as I didn't even see it happen as it was in the moment I was checking my other mirror, just to gauge traffic and cars and then BAM! So that was fun.

This is the first week with no new Alchemy of Secrets edition, SHOCKING I know! But I did get one preorder and then I WON 2 more books! So a pretty good week all in all!
