GENRE: YA Thriller

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and The Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

This week's topic is: Top Ten Six Literary/Bookish Candles I'd Make

*in no particular order
**I am not very good with this particular topic! Lol. I kept trying to think of fragrantful things that would relate back to a book and didn't get far! Lol. Plus I wasn't sure what scents would mix well together and then I'd think, well there's "this" scent but I don't like the smell of that! So I tried to keep them to smells I would like and would possibly burn if I had said candle!

6. SO THIRSTY by Rachel Harrison--so this was on my desk when I was drafting this post and I thought, ooh, BLOOD ORANGES! Were there oranges in this book? No, but we had blood. Lol.
5. SMALL FAVORS by Erin A. Craig--this popped up on Instagram awhile back and I thought candle idea: honey, vanilla, and just a hint of wildflowers.
4. THE EXECUTIONERS THREE by Susan Dennard--fall leaves, cinnamon, and pumpkins; this book had a very fall-like atmosphere so I am going with those notes!

Y'ALL READY FOR THIS ROW???

3. CARAVAL by Stephanie Garber--cotton candy and vanilla...not that cotton candy was in Caraval, but because Legend and the game gave me that kind of vibe!
2. LEGENDARY by Stephanie Garber--apples and cinnamon/sugar; apples for obvious reason and cinnamon/sugar because Tella is sweet and fierce!
1. ONCE UPON A BROKEN HEART by Stephanie Garber--frost and vanilla icing; frost because we're in the Magnificent North and vanilla icing because Evangeline was super sweet!
