Book Blogger Hop #356

This week's question is: What's your typical process for writing a book review, from reading the book to publishing the review on your blog? (submitted by Page @ Pages of Perfiction)

MY ANSWER: After I finish reading, I immediately start to write my review while details are still fresh in my head! I know a lot of other bloggers always talk about being behind on their reviews and I just can't fathom this. I've got a wonky memory, so it's better for me to write the review before I let my brain dive into my next book and possibly confuse details around. If I've finished my book away from laptop I will write out an email of my review and send it to myself to format later!

After I write the review, then I format it to my blog and cross-post to Goodreads. I've stopped posting on Amazon awhile back. I had received notification that one of my reviews was flagged for some reason. Indecent language?? It was something weird like that and I was like, what was the offensive word? I skimmed the review and didn't see anything totally indecent as I will use other characters when the situation calls for it. But I don't even really do that anymore either. So yeah, not sure what made someone upset about it, but I just decided I was done with that.

Depending on when I finish the book I will usually just schedule the post for the next morning, as it's usually fairly late in the day when I end up finishing read. I will post the review right away to Goodreads, so if there's a review you can't wait on that you know should be coming from me, check there! Lol. ARC reviews though can tend to be a day late as I might forget even with my reminders! Lol.

Comments are an award all on their own! So my blog is an award free one! Thanks for any consideration though!
