MY ANSWER: Not really. No. I've always loved my Urban Fantasy/Paranormal reads and Fantasy ones too! I can never get into contemporary reads. I've even been mislead by what I thought were thrillers (another genre I enjoy) but they ended up being a contemporary story where someone was murdered but the MC didn't do anything about it until the last two chapters. That's a LOT of everyday life and not caring that someone is dead until you decide to do something about it weeks or it could've been months later.
