This week's question is: How often do you enter Goodreads' Giveaways? And how many have you won over the years? (submitted by Elizabeth @ Silver's Review)
MY ANSWER: I check the contests everyday. I've just made it a habit over the last few years since I follow a few different contest sites and do daily entries. I don't see books I want to read everyday, but I entered a handful each month I'd say. I think I could've started entering them way back when I first joined Goodreads or it might have been within the first year or two? The first book I ever won was the year after I joined Goodreads. I can't remember what year it was that I started my daily check-ins for contests instead of just being notified. But during ALL of this time I've won exactly 11 times.
There have been looooong year gaps where I never won anything, but I finally won a book this year after a 2 year gap of no wins! But yes, it's very infrequently that I ever win! It's the equivalent of the bookish lottery when you think of it!
