This week's topic is: THANKSGIVING FREEBIE: Top 10 Authors I'm Thankful for Meeting

*in no particular order
**I would normally share the picture I took with said author, but I have since removed them from my laptop as its hard drive was getting too full!

10. AMIE KAUFMAN & JAY KRISTOFF--yes, a 2 for 1 here! Lol. Meeting an author duo is always fantastic but even more so when they are from another country entirely!
9. JOHN CONNOLLY--another author from overseas that I was thankful to have met! I read this book ages ago and loved it. Still need to read its companion/sequel when I got to meet John!
8. LEIGH BARDUGO--I've actually met Leigh a few times now, but that was all before she hit Hollywood with Six of Crows! I feel like authors are harder to meet after that. I've actually not been able to see her again since Shadow & Bone went on Netflix.

7. TRACY WOLFF--I was actually reading Tracy's books for years before Crave came out and I did get to meet her at one of my last RT conferences before she came here on tour for Charm, I believe it was. And she still remembered me! Which was SO touching!
6. CARISSA BROADBENT--I had just starting reading Carissa last year and quickly became a fan! So I was super excited when she came on tour here last year as well!
5. AIMEE CARTER--I was a fan of her pretty much when I first read her debut here. Never thought I'd get to meet her as her tours were always on the other side of the country it seemed but last year I finally got to meet her and it was awesome!

4. MARIA V. SNYDER--I had only read Maria's first two books before I was determined to meet her! This was so long ago, I decided to fly out to PA to RT where she was attending, as I thought I'd meet her plus several other authors to at the big signing day and it was AMAZING! I surprised her with my visit, made a custom t-shirt and it was just such a great time!
3. REBECCA YARROS--for Rebecca's first tour with Iron Flame I somehow was lucky enough to get a ticket during the great chaos virus that was set over the website. Pure freaking luck. I, of course, was booted out of checkout due to a systematical error when I was trying to buy a ticket for her St. Louis stop earlier this year. THAT was a bad bad bad bad terribly awful rotten no good very very very very bad bad day. But that first time? Pure magic! Sadly it was just a meet and greet, but still pretty magical!
2. AMELIA ATWATER-RHODES--an author I never ever thought I'd get to meet, but meet her I did! It was the best! I was of course tongue tied, but oh my gosh I am still shocked that I got to meet her!

1. STEPHANIE GARBER--to set things back on course from last week, I bumped Stephanie back to #1! Lol. Yes, I am stoked that I have gotten to meet Stephanie several times now!
