Stacking the Shelves--The Spectacular Edition: Part 3

Stacking the Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts, and of course ebooks! The meme is now hosted by Reading Reality.

It was another week. Nothing bad, nothing great. My Blackwell's copy of Spectacular is STILL at the Distribution Center of No Return! Getting very, very upset about this because my B&N books go through this center too and while they are held anywhere from 1-2 days, maybe 3, they don't stay a week there! My book has been in whatever "crate" or whatnot since October 21st!! This is insane!! I'd call them if I could, but it's not really a customer oriented place and I can't get an exact phone number pinned down as there is a regular post office in the area too so it's hard to say which number I'm looking at. I'm going back to my PO this week when I have a day off and see if they can call them again or something because this is INSANE! Those first edition books are soooo exclusive to fans and I still have to wait until the 22nd to contact Blackwell's for their help and I don't know if the first print run will still be running by then!

But anyway, here's what I got this week that was processed through that center who must have something against me! I swear they must, lol.

Wednesday's Library by Calliope Glass & Alexandra West
Stranger Skies by Pascale Lacelle--
I preordered the B&N edition, but it's not up on GR yet. I also still need to read book 1, but had forgotten I preordered this during one of the sales. Whoops!
Where the Library Hides by Isabel Ibanez--B&N edition, keeper copy!
Vampires: The History & Lore of the Undead by Agnes Hollyhock--I always find these kinds of books intriguing, so when I saw the Halloween stuff on a cart about to be put away until next year, I snagged this one up!

Then I joined a Stephanie Garber trade group on Instagram where we help each other trade covers so we can all try to get the ones we want, or all 4 and I traded for the final cover I needed! Now I just need my remaining book to arrive so I can have half Waterstones, half standard!

Spectacular by Stephanie Garber--UK edition, the nutcracker palace

THANK YOU Christina!

Then I ordered the Acrylipics Caraval set awhile back and the books arrived this week--through that same sorting center I might add--and they are just gorgeous!

The titles are in a metallic coloring, so they are a little hard to see. The covers are really pretty, but what won me over are these sprayed edges! I mean look at that gorgeous design of the Carousel of Roses! AND THEN I also got these pretty page overlays! I believe that the artist was SallTeas, I loved her alternate covers for the OUABH trilogy, so these were just awesome!

Then for review I received:

Fateless by Julie Kagawa (ARC)--I was just thinking, I haven't seen Julie with a new book in awhile when this beauty popped up on my radar!

THANK YOU HarperCollins!!

Then I got my preorder goodies for Heir:

I got a map and a coin to help with reading or sleeping!

THANK YOU Penguin Teen!!!

I also got my preorder goodie for the Caraval box set that I ordered:

THANK YOU Flatiron Books!!

And then I managed to snag a Voodoo Bunny from Voodoo Isle!

It's a cute little Candy Corn bunny!

And that was it for me this week! Almost have all my Spectacular copies as my UK collectors set and Goldsboro have shipped and my wayward Spectacular copy is less than an hour away from me...so hopefully that one can be sent to me soon!

What all did you get this week?
