'Clowns are your cure for a nightmare?' Evie said from the couch, where she lay half-sprawled again, legs crossed, one leg kicking out and back. 'Never, ever say that to me inside one of my dreams, Henry. Promise me.' She shivered. 'Clowns.'" p 49-50

*in no particular order
10. THE THORNS by Dawn Kurtagich--this one originally gave me creepy Rapunzel vibes but it doesn't really sound like that's what it's about, so I'll stick around for the creepy vibes Dawn is known for!
9. THESE VENGEFUL WISHES by Vanessa Montalban--another story that sounds spooky and delightful!
8. BEAST by Jade Linwood--I still need to read Charming, but I am definitely intrigued by these fairy tales where the heroes are not quite heroic. Hopefully this still releases in March as GR doesn't have a description available which is troublesome.

7. ONYX STORM by Rebecca Yarros--despite the hell I went through trying and failing to buy a ticket to her St. Louis signing, I am looking forward to this one...even though I need to read Iron Flame still. But it's moved to the bottom of the priority list due to the failure.
6. THE FOREST KING'S DAUGHTER by Elly Blake--so excited that she's writing again! I loved her original trilogy and am excited for this one!
5. THE SHADOW BRIDE by Shelby Mahurin--been dying to read this duology, but as always, was waiting for it to be completed!

4. THE NORTORIOUS VIRTUES by Alwyn Hamilton--so happy that this one is finally releasing! I thought it was a cosmic joke that this book would ever come out!
3. SLAYING THE VAMPIRE CONQUEROR by Carissa Broadbent--hoping this still releases in March this year, but Goodreads is being weird now as I can't see its 2025 date anymore. Been dying to read this one since someone told me about it at signing last year but it was already out of print and impossible to find at a reasonable price!
2. THE DEATHLY GRIMM by Kathryn Purdie--another duology I cannot wait to start!
