Stacking the Shelves--The Christmas Haul

And that's another Christmas down in the books! Can't believe how fast this week! It always seems to do that when I don't have to work. Sadly, this week, I didn't really have much time to read what with the holiday, preparing for the gatherings, and then cleaning up after the gatherings. It was exhausting! Lol. But I did binge Stranger Things and am ready for the finale! Actually, as I write this, I still have 2 episodes to go, but will be watching those before the night is done! Otherwise the week was pretty quiet, outside the holiday chaos! I had a nice Christmas with my family, ate way too much food and even more cookies! I always think every year that we need to start making more of these cookies during the year so I don't overindulge every Christmas but never actually get around to doing that! Lol. Oh well!

Here's what I got this week, actually, all of these were acquired over the weekend during B&N's epic sale! I mean, don't get me wrong, I loved the hardcover sale the last two years but having the paperbacks included this time around really made me happy! Lol.

Then when I was waiting in line I saw this book paperweight and decided to get it too! It was actually 30% off so that was nice! I find I sometimes need one of these when I read a book that just won't stay open when I try to eat something as I read. I'm always careful, but these last few times when I was reading in bed, I used my phone as I forgot where my other book paperweight I used to use when I worked in the office was!

And then finally, at Christmas I got my B&N gift cards! For some reason no one gave me one on my birthday last week, but I knew someone would come through for me! Lol.

Then I bought myself one too! Lol. I thought this would help me better budget my book spending if I allowed myself to buy this card now. We'll see how my theory works as there is a preorder sale coming up soon! I think tomorrow from what I remember...

Jim Shore FINALLY made the piece! Now I just need Funko Pop to do it! Lol.
