Books from the Backlog is a fun way to feature some of those neglected books sitting on your bookshelf unread.  If you are anything like me, you might be surprised by some of the unread books hiding in your stacks. This is a fun meme hosted by Carole's Random Life in Books!

I added Terri Garey's Happily Never After to my TBR pile in July of 2017, but according to Goodreads this didn't release until August 2018...so I guess I marked it early? Lol. I've been now trying to take books off my wishlist when I buy them and remark them as "want to read" so I have a better idea of when I actually got them! Anyway, I remember buying this series of Terri's when my beloved Borders was closing its doors for good. I bought the whole series which was 4 books long then and then sometime later I remember Terri self-published (I think?) this sort of goodbye finale. So naturally, I had to buy it on my kindle (ugh, I always forget the books on that thing because they do not glare at me like all my other TBR books, lol) and there it remains. Hopefully one day I can happily binge the series and be grateful for this goodbye edition (I call it that because that's the vibes I get when publishers cancel a series and you're left with that unfinished business, no pun intended for a book series involving ghosts!).
