I added A.V. Geiger's Follow Me Back to my TBR pile in June of 2017 as I had heard good things about it! But then I saw it was going to be a duology, so naturally, I had to wait until I had both books before I could read them and here I am nearly 9 years later and I still haven't read them! This still sounds like a creepy good story so I hope to read it at some point!
