Stacking the Shelves

Stacking the Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts, and of course ebooks! The meme is now hosted by Reading Reality.

Another week that I don't really remember what happened! Lol. Work was a drag since it's end of year and things are either pretty slow or pretty busy. Not chaotic busy but not laid back either. I managed to complete all my bookish goals for 2025 and surpassed what I had down in writing but hit the ones that I was just silently saying to myself! Lol. But yeah, otherwise pretty quiet around here but this week I have a book signing! Yes, I am starting 2026 off right with an author signing! And I have another one next week too! So while I may not get sleep some days this month, it will still be fun! Lol.

A LOT was preordered during the B&N sale. I was bad. Really, really bad. Lol. I burned through all my Xmas gift cards, save for 1 which I left in my wallet. But I can't pass up getting a good deal on books! Especially the paperbacks which hardly ever go on sale. So yeah...but since this one released on the day the sale started, I couldn't "preorder" it but I was able to use my birthday coupon and my remaining gift card to buy it! So that was still fun! Lol.

A Steep and Savage Path by J.J.A Harwood

And then even though I am monstrously behind in the series I decided to go ahead and download the free novella Jennifer put out there for her FBAA series:

A Crown of Ruin by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Then for review from the publisher I received:

Beth is Dead by Katie Bernet (ARC)--I actually already read this too! I started reading it with one site thinking it was the full version, but it was an unmarked sampler and I was in a rage! I would not have started it with them had I known it was just a sampler, but luckily I had it available on Netgalley and I just picked up where I left off! My review will be up tomorrow!

THANK YOU Sarah Barley Books!

And then...OMG, you guys might not be prepared for this...Michael's sent me an email, as they do everyday, and this one had its NEW lineups in decor and HOLY FREAKING COW YOU GUYS! It's A BOOKISH LINE!!

Naturally, when I went to two stores, they were still getting most of it out. Yes, some pieces were available. No it was not on sale. I had a coupon for one item but that only goes so far when I wanted to buy a whole lot more! Stuff is on sale online, but practically everything is NOT AVAILABLE and I am just fuming! Lol. It's like why don't you want my money?! I want to buy more but it's not available anywhere! So yeah, that was frustrating in a sense but I'll ne checking for it weekly now.

Anyway...longtime rambler here, but I ended up buying two cute little signs that make me almost want to put my books in genre order!

TO BE READ BLVD
FANTASY LN

Naturally when I checked online these two weren't available and when I check other stores no one has anything! So I felt like I HAD to buy them both at the same time. Lol.

And that was it for me this week! What all did you get?
