Stacking the Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts, and of course ebooks! The meme is now hosted by Reading Reality.
It was another short week, but still pretty chaotic at work since we had some people out for most of that short time. But the Thanksgiving Break was nice indeed. Sadly, it seems my copy of Spectacular will stay lost as it did not magically appear. Not feeling so sure that it ever will, I can only hope my replacement will be a first print run edition! Fingers remain crossed! And now we can officially get underway for the Christmas season! I almost have my Secret Santa person taken care of. Just trying to decide on maybe one or two other little things. Then moving onto my family, I have 2/3 nephew and niece taken care of. I have some small things for my parents and my stepdad had a good idea for a group gift for my mom which I am all for. It's just a matter of seeing if everyone else is down for it before I fork over my money for it! Lol. Stepdad is another hard to shop for guy and am waiting for his list. But yeah, I say I'm off to a good start!
Here's what I got this week:
The Study of Fire by Maria V. Snyder--SIGNED!
And then I got a preorder gift for The Courting of Bristol Keats! After not getting any answers on Threads as to what book this page overlay came from, I started doing random searches on Instagram as it finally occurred to me as why this didn't make my list! It was a tiered preorder campaign, so nothing was guaranteed. Sadly, it seems we did not get enough preorders for the coin, as I distinctly remember a coin being mentioned if we hit the top of the tier. Alas, I do wish we had something identifying in the corner of this design! It's lovely of course, but man, did it take me awhile to find that info!
