This is my worst month yet! It was abysmal! I think after having three great months back to back that my mind just took a break from it all! Lol. I have no idea what happened really. Nothing really occurred to me this month other than these two. I'm also slowly mentally preparing myself for my busy season at work which is likely to kick into gear in August, but will steadily pick up until then...so yeah. Still doing all right with my goal. Currently at 34/41 and we're halfway through the year, so I'm not too worried. At least not yet! Lol.

While I sucked at discussions I kicked butt with my Backlist challenge! I read 9 older books, albeit two were graphic novels and 5 were just around 200 pages which seems super short these days in a world where your average book is 400+ and that's on the low end! I think I was mostly pacing myself to read shorter books so I could read Linde's books before I went to her signing this month and it paid off pretty well all things considered! I cleared out ALL of these TBR books AND I am nearly caught up on Valentino's Villain series! Just have to read last year's book and this year's which releases this month and I AM CAUGHT UP!!! With all of these books read I've completed my challenge at 31/30 books. 

So far I am hesitant to increase the number here just yet. I mean idealistically I wouldn't mind 40 but after increasing my discussion challenge and failing spectacularly this month, I am loathe to do that so soon again! Lol. We'll see how July goes before I change it "officially!"
