Stacking the Shelves

Stacking the Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts, and of course ebooks! The meme is now hosted by Reading Reality.

Well it was another week as we enter in a new month. This is likely the last "calm" month I'll have at work for awhile as things will slowly pick up before booming in September and October and then trickling down somewhere in November if we are lucky. It was a mostly uneventful week too. Luckily we got off early from work on Thursday to make for a nicer long weekend which I spent reading my book and then yesterday I made a trip to my storage unit to find some last minute additions to a July event I am attending and a September one while I was at it! It was hot sweaty work and I came out with a few scrapes on my hands and only one bruise that I've seen so far! Lol. But I found all the books I wanted to and did a little reorganizing as well. A few of those poor boxes are nearing their end of life from all the shifting I've done with them. I guess this is what they mean by "moving" and how many "moves" the boxes can last! Because yeah, they all should be dead and buried by now! Lol.

Unnatural Magic by Stacia Stark--this was a one day deal that I got for .99! I've two other books of Stacia's on my TBR and anticipating her January release next year so I thought I'd try some backlist titles and I couldn't pass this one up for .99!

Then LitJoy Crate announced they were "retiring" their Tricia Levenseller collection and I had been eyeing this cute hidden letter opener for awhile...almost bought it too awhile back but talked myself out of it. But for $9 instead of $20 I could talk myself out of it no longer, for once it's gone, it's gone and I decided I'd like it for $9! Lol.

And then finally, I received some preorder swag from The Thorns by Dawn Kurtagich! I am always surprised when UK authors say they will mail these goodies to US folks so I can never pass up putting my receipt in for some goodies!

I received a nice little letter where Dawn talks about the inspiration behind The Thorns!
a sticker that appears to be a leftover from The Madness, another great book so I am happy to have it!
character prints!

THANK YOU SO MUCH Dawn!

And that was it for me this week! What all did you get?
