This week's question is: Sometimes, readers get into funks and maybe stop reading or feel like reading is work. What do you do to get yourself out of a reading funk? (submitted by Nicole @ The Christian Fiction Girl)
MY ANSWER: I honestly don't encounter too many reading funks. I enjoy reading too much to really feel any kind of "funk." Occasionally I will get genre burnout if I read too many fantasies or thrillers or paranormals in a row, but this is easily fixed by picking one of the other genres that weren't included in that genre binge.
I'm honestly not sure I could provide advice in this sense. Usually my go-to advice would be to re-read a beloved favorite! Whichever book you consider your favorite, give that one a read again to help revive your passion for reading!
