Stacking the Shelves--Boxes of Awesomeness!

Stacking the Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts, and of course ebooks! The meme is now hosted by Reading Reality.

Another long week, but I am taking a mini vacation this weekend as I've family in town so that will be fun! I had a book signing this past week AND I have another one tomorrow AND one next week in which my sister AND my cousin have decided to attend, so I am riding a nice little reader high right now! Lol. The work week was the usual blah. It's the slow season and I am totally fine with that, I enjoy our little lull because one we start getting towards July and August it will ever so slowly begin to pick up and then it's chaos until maybe mid-late November! I'd say September-November are our chaotic times with the occasional spurt of busyness here and there in between! You never know really.

This week I went to see Shelby Mahurin and it was yet another awesome signing! I had forgotten about the series Shelby was writing before this vampire duology, she briefly mentioned it that evening and while it's not necessarily dead, it just may not be entirely what we originally thought it would be AND she had another new project that I think is taking priority right now. This week, I'll be seeing Margaret Owen! I'll still have family in town, but everyone knows how much I love my books and author events and I don't think I'll be missing out on anything as I will spend the daytime hours with them, so it's all good! This will be the first time I get to meet Margaret so it should be fun!

Onto this week's haul! Here's what I got this week:

The Shadow Bride by Shelby Mahurin--B&N edition SIGNED!
The Shadow Bride by Shelby Mahurin--standard edition SIGNED!

Once the Skies Fade by Vanessa Rasanen--
with SIGNED bookplate and character cards! I still need to read the first book but I couldn't resist getting a copy with the clear signed bookplate sticker and character art!

Slaying the Vampire Conqueror by Carissa Broadbent--
B&N edition!
The Deathly Grimm by Kathryn Purdie

Then I also got my Fairy Loot edition of the third Emily Wilde book...another series I still need to start!

Emily Wilde's Compendium of Lost Tales by Heather Fawcett--Fairy Loot edition!

Just sharing the cover and sprayed edges! Will leave the hidden cover and endpages as a surprise in case others are still waiting for their copy! These special editions have been a lot of fun so I couldn't resist getting the third one too! Lol.

Then for review from the publisher I received:

The Devouring Light by Kat Ellis (ARC)

THANK YOU HarperCollins!

I LOOOOVED Kat's previous books and short stories so I am super excited for this one! I mean LOOK at the cover!!

Then I had ordered one of the many dolls that Pages of the Night had for half off a week or so ago! I decided to get a NON-Caraval character this time, so that's a HUGE deal for me! Lol.

I got Rose from Vampire Academy! This book/series was the one that brought me back to YA however many years ago that was! Right when the YA genre was getting their Paranormal boom! I think Twilight might have been a year or two away or maybe it was out. I really don't remember, lol.

Then LitJoy Crate was having a big sale and I saw a fun bookish coin in the mix so I decided to buy that as I long ago mentioned a weird joy for non-monetary coins! I just always thought they were cool! This was a Divination coin so basically if I need help making a decision with a yes/no answer...

And that was it for me this week! What all did you get?
