Stacking the Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts, and of course ebooks! The meme is now hosted by Reading Reality.
I do not know what happened this week. Lol. Normal life wise, it was the same. Work was up and down with being busy and not so busy. We're likely going to get busier from here on out for awhile so hopefully the day will go by faster then! Lol. Book wise...yeah...I lost control again? Maybe? Lol. The preorder sale from B&N was not as damaging as before. I tried not to order too many 2026 books just yet as I am waiting for the holidays and to rack in those gift cards! Lol. But I did order a few 2026 ones, not too many, and then I ordered a few 2025s that slipped past me. Then B&N's Labor Day double punches sale suckered 2 books out of me, I impulsively joined Book of the Month for obvious reasons and then I got a few preorders as well. This doesn't include the bit of shopping I did yesterday, which after looking over things I've decided I am returning a good chunk of it. I was too impulsively with these non-book things and they just need to go back because I really don't need them. Lol. So that will be a bit of relief once refunded!
But here's what I got this week from the bookish realm:

Soul of Shadow by Emma Noyes--this one caught my eye recently and with the double punches and a gift card in hand, I once again thought why not?
How Bad Things Can Get by Darcy Coates--pretty much the same thing as above! Plus it was on sale!
A Land So Wide by Erin A.Craig--a preorder, plus it's Erin's adult debut!
Thorn Season by Kiera Azar--another preorder
The Ever King by L.J. Andrews--this one had me curious as well and since Amazon had a great price for it, I decided to throw it into the cart I was building!
