I just started reading this one prior to making this post, so today's teaser is just from page 3! Lol.
"There was nothing particularly distinct about the car that wound its way across the parking lot, streetlights striping across its sleek surface in a hypnotic rhythm. The only thing that made it stand out was the two black SUVs following it, both full of security personnel." p 3

This week's topic is: Top Ten Books I Wish I Could Read Again for the First Time
10. THE KISS OF DECEPTION by Mary E. Pearson--I remember the reveal of who's who was just so good! I remember guessing correctly as my initial thought felt too easy so I switched them up and yup, I was right to do that! Lol.
9. THAT'S NOT MY NAME by Megan Lally--another good twisty reveal! I kept thinking as I read it that something was strange about all this and sure enough, I was right to think that! Lol.
8. BITTEN by Kelley Armstrong--purely nostalgia!

7. SHADOWLAND by Jenny Carroll--one of the first YA Paranormal books I read and it was beautiful! LOVED it SO MUCH!
6. HALFWAY TO THE GRAVE by Jeaniene Frost--the series I was a tad afraid to start as I thought there'd be too much romance when I was looking for just a hint of that in my reads and this was shelved in Romance and was published by a Romance Publisher! Lol. But yes, this book was pure magic!
5. STRAY by Rachel Vincent--another book that had me hesitant to pick up despite it sounding good as it was also shelved in Romance. I guess in the early days, Urban Fantasy got shelved in romance even when it only involved a hint of romance! I saw three favorite authors had a blurb on this cover, so I bought it and yes, I LOVED it!

4. OLD MAGIC by Marianne Curley--another favorite from my youth! My first taste of YA Paranormal as well! Leaning more towards fantasy and time traveling but this book was SO good!
3. OBSIDIAN by Jennifer L. Armentrout--need I say more?
2. ONCE UPON A BROKE HEART by Stephanie Garber--I mean you were expecting this one right? It stands to reason that the rest of the series is included!
