Stacking the Shelves

Stacking the Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts, and of course ebooks! The meme is now hosted by Reading Reality.

This wasn't too bad of a week! Work was more of the usual, not terrible, not super busy but staying steady and such. I went to two different book signings, one was for Emily Varga and the other was Meg Cabot! I've got to meet Meg twice before but still go every time really as there are always more books and she is really fun to hear talk! Emily was super fun too! She had some fun stories as well and she still works full time as well, so I always find that perspective interesting from the authors who write full time or part time! Weather wise it was hot and humid and I was probably crazy to stand outside for two hours at the hottest part of the hottest day of the year for Emily's signing, but at least I got to wait in the library for Meg's! Lol. But other than that things were pretty quiet. I took a vacation day to have a long holiday weekend and also so I didn't have to lose sleep after two nights of book signings, lol. So I spent my time off reading and I did some shopping as well because of all the holiday deals!

Here's what I got this week:

Queen of Faces by Petra Lord
Vesselless by Cortney L. Winn--
ironically, I was just draw in by the cover of her second book that made me decide to go ahead and give this first one a try!
A Future to Remember by Victoria Laurie--still so behind in this series, but still got to pick up a copy when the next one comes out!
Be Right Back by Bill Wood--double stamp weekend and catching it on sale made the impulse choice easier! Lol.
The River She Became by Emily Varga--SIGNED!

At Emily's signing, I received some really cool character art prints for TRSB:

And there was also a free gift of a bracelet for buying the book as well:

the engraving says: Return to the River

And that was it for me this week! What all did you get?
