Stacking the Shelves

This weekly meme is hosted by Tynga's Reviews.

Stacking The Shelves is all about the books we are adding to our shelves each week, sharing with you our excitement for our newest titles and maybe have you discover a new book in the process!

Another great week of book getting!!

Here's what I ended up buying:

The Dead House by Dawn Kurtagich
Ash & Bramble by Sarah Prineas

For review I received:

Unspoken by C.C. Hunter (ARC)
Scrape by Erin Kellison (ARC)
Blood Hunt by Lucienne Diver (ARC)

This was the goodies that came with the ARC of Unspoken! Some bookmarks, postcards, notepad and pen, and the totally cool handbag!

THANK YOU C.C., Erin, Samhain Publishing, & Netgalley!

Then another bookish goody that I got during the week was:

This awesome box sign from B&N!
After I saw it in HelloKittyReads instagram pics several times, I decided to track it down!

Then the non bookish but Halloween related or just totally cool finds were these:

This little lovely came from Hobby Lobby, I went in to get something else, but I never pass up looking at Halloween decor. You know, for everyday decor in my room! Though this will just be out for Halloween, as my shelves are running full with other decor items!

I thought this was just cool because instead of Seize the Day! Seize the Night is perfect for Halloween!

Then on Friday night, I went to what's called the Taste of St. Louis, basically a bunch of restaurants setting up booths for you to buy a little taste of their popular items. There were also music bands playing and of course, a few "artistic" booths. And one of them was a shop that refurbishes Winchester bullets into jewelry.

Now you know me, I love my Winchester boys since Day 1! LOL! When I saw this piece with the angel wings, I automatically thought of Supernatural and Cas, and how basically this was such a cool piece! I don't think it was intended to be "Supernatural" themed with the angel wings, but that's how I saw it. And that's why I had to buy it!

Then there was this other cool little booth that basically sold these skulls! Now they were all made in Mexico for Day of the Dead, and when I saw this. I just kept looking back at it! I actually came to the booth twice and then after already spending a fortune before, I decided to keep on adding to the credit card bill! Sigh...but I just thought this was so cool! It's creepy, yet, it's not meant to be. For you know Day of the Dead is about honoring our departed ones (from what I gather!) and the owner was telling me that this piece celebrates both life and death because the two are just apart of that endless cycle! So yeah...I'm a sucker when it comes to unique little pieces like this!

And that was my haul this week! What did you all get?
