So as I write this teaser post up I'm trying to finish up Dead Reckoning. It's okay so far. Pretty much what I'm seeing with the reviews already posted. It seems kind of so-so. Missing the mystery that used to be in the books, but oh well. I want to see how this series wraps itself up!
Here are the rules:
1. Grab your current read
2. Open to a page
3. Pick out 2 lines that are SPOILER FREE
4. Name the title, author, etc.
"'I've tried to kill you over and over, and you just won't die!'
I almost felt like apologizing." p143

Great teaser! I need to get on with reading that series, I've only read two so far.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by. I have the oddest feeling I've read something very similar before, but I've never read this series, so who knows?

Oh yes! I remember that part! I actually loved the book, sorry your feeling it's only so-so though.
ReplyDeleteLOL. That is hilarious and precisely why I love Charlaine Harris and the Sookie Stackhouse series. I seriously need to catch up, I almost bought this book today. I literally had it in my hands in the bookstore and then I opt'ed for Die For Me and The Lipstick Laws. lol.
ReplyDeleteSuch a great teaser! ;)

Fab teasers! I started reading Sookie's Series back when it first started. I haven't read the last 2, including this one.
ReplyDeleteSounds like this one isn't all that great and I've been hearing that around, too.
I have to admit, I'm a True Blood lover which has absolutely nothing to do with the books, lol. I'm addicted to the series and can't wait until the series starts back up-less than a month now :o]
I see you're reading Abandon by Meg Cabot right now? I loved that book-I have a review on my blog that is completely spoiler free if you're interested. I hope you're enjoying it as much as I did! I can't wait to see your review on in!

I need to read the last 3-4 books or so, good teaser! I didn't realize the series was coming to an end, but I could kind of see it winding down after I read book 8, they just don't seem to be very good! I do want to see how they finish up though!
