- You create your own post using the post prompt.
- You leave your link and thumbnail in the linky list that links back to your post prompt.
- Once you have your post up and linked, visit other posts and tell them hi. The point is to FOLLOW them not just comment.
- If you see a post that just hit it to the moon, or just want to show appreciation to a fellow blogger friend, like their name on the linky list to show some appreciation.
- The person with the most likes gets chosen as the next Feature (you can be chosen every 90 days unless we are in need of features)
- It is required that if you participate that you have to follow the FEATURE. It is a big no-no to participate and ignore the feature. They are the special snowflake in this little blizzard.
- As a participant it is up to your discretion on how you want people to follow. Please post RSS, GFC etc if you have a follow of choice.
Specific RULES:
- Put your Blog name & URL in the Linky thing. You can also grab the code if you would like to insert it into your posts.
- Grab the button up there and place it in a post, this post is for people to find a place to say “hi” in your comments and that they are now following you.
- If you are using WordPress or another CMS that doesn’t have GFC (Google Friends Connect) state in your posts how you would like to be followed FOLLOW as many as you can, as many as you want, or just follow a few. The whole point is to make new friends and find new blogs. Also, don’t just follow, comment and say hi. Another blogger might not know you are a new follower if you don’t say “HI”

This week's prompt is: Write a Letter to Your A Favorite Author
MY ANSWER: You mean I have to choose just one?!
Dear Victoria Laurie,
I have loved your books for years now it seems! I loved the Abby Cooper Mystery series when I was looking for a good mystery read! The added bonus that Abby's a psychic really cinched the deal for me! Then your Ghost Hunter Mystery series became a fast favorite as well! I'm sadden that the series has ended and find myself delaying reading that last book because I don't want to say goodbye just yet. I think I might be in denial with Gilley! He's still in denial right? I also really enjoyed your foray into the YA world! I hope you write another YA book! And I cannot wait to see what you'll come up with next since M.J.'s chapter has closed!
Sincerely a fan in denial about the Ghost Hunter Mystery series coming to an end--still!,
I don't know this author, but great letter. I missed this post this week. Will try to get back on track next week.
ReplyDeleteGreat letter! I know what you mean with how you want to delay the last book out of a trilogy which is so so good! I am doing that myself currently, but I promised myself this year I will close that "chapter" ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for stopping by! Following you through twitter as well (was already following through GFC):)
Florentine @ Readiculously Peachy
I've heard of the "Ghost Hunter" series! I get into moods where I enjoy reading those types of books ONLY for a long time. Weirdly, even when I'm not in the mood to read them I like to buy them. This looks like a great series! Old follower on Twitter and BlogLovin', but I'm now following your Instagram! *highfive*

Great letter. I also had a hard time picking a favorite author. I have a bunch of favorites!
ReplyDeleteAj @ Read All The Things!
I've never heard of this author, but I love your letter! It was hard this week to pick a favourite author, there are so many awesome ones I'd love to gush to about how amazing their books are!
ReplyDeleteOld follower, happy F&F Friday!
My F&F.
I haven't read anything by this author, but that is such a cool idea! And I really loved your letter! :)
ReplyDeleteI think I've heard about this author before, but I haven't had the pleasure of reading any of her work. Great letter and thank you for stopping by my blog.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
