Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. This feature was created because we are particularly fond of lists here at The Broke and the Bookish. We'd love to share our lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see your top ten lists!
Each week we will post a new Top Ten list that one of our bloggers here at The Broke and the Bookish will answer. Everyone is welcome to join. All we ask is that you link back to The Broke and the Bookish on your own Top Ten Tuesday post AND add your name to the Linky widget so that everyone can check out other bloggers lists! If you don't have a blog, just post your answers as a comment. Have fun with it! It's a fun way to get to know your fellow bloggers.
This week's topic is: Ten Books I Wouldn't Mind Santa Leaving Under My Tree
*in no particular order
**Randomly picked from my Goodreads Wishlist
10-8: The Glass Trilogy by Maria V. Snyder--UK edition, I believe that's what this set was! As you all know, I ADORE Maria's books and I've decided a little while back that I want to collect all the editions that I can!
7-5: The Healer Trilogy by Maria V. Snyder--Australian edition! I loooove these covers! They're sooo gorgeous!
4 & 3: Soulfinders 1 & 2 by Maria V. Snyder--Australian edition! I NEEDZ THEM ALL!! LOL!
2. Touch of Power by Maria V. Snyder--Australian first edition, this one might be harder to find since they re-did the cover appearance afterwards. :( But I plan to do some hunting come New Years! ;)
1. VASSA IN THE NIGHT by Sarah Porter--because I was trying to keep my list limited to books that are technically out there in the world, I decided to go with this one! Been hearing good things about it and I loooove a good fairy tale retelling!!
Awesome picks for TTT, and I adore that teaser. Oooh, it makes me want to read that book :)
ReplyDeleteHere's my TTT and my TT
I really need to get caught up on Maria V. Snyder's books! Vassa sounds so good! I hope Santa brings you lots of books! ;) Happy holidays!
ReplyDeleteNice! I think those covers of the Glass series are the original MMPBs for UK and USA. Neither seem to currently be in print :(. I have the trade paperbacks, and they look like the Australian covers. I love all of these covers!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the UK editions of most books - especially MVS's. Great picks!
ReplyDeleteTTT @ Krista's Dust Jacket
Those Australian covers are absolutely gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI got Vassa in the Night in my Uppercase box and have still yet to read it! I really need to catch up on my book reading. Hopefully Santa doesn't add too many more books to the pile LOL

Fun list!! I hope you receive all the books on your list this year. Happy holidays!!
ReplyDeleteHow do you have space for multiple copies of books? I have been shifting to Kindle versions to free up shelf space for quite a while now. Thanks for visiting my blogs. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteSoooo, Snyder! Great list. :)
