MY ANSWER: I'd strived to get them a signed book from a favorite author! If it was at all possible of course! If it could be personalized, I'd do that! But would settle for signature if that was all I could get on short notice.
Otherwise, I'd try to get them whatever new release that's out that they want and might not buy right away...or I'd try to find something unique and bookish for them from one of the many, many shops that are online!
That's such a thoughtful gift! I have such a hard time buying presents for people, no matter what they are into. Thanks for sharing!

A personalized autographed copy of a book would make a wonderful gift. I have only been able to do that for my mother once. Have a great weekend!
