Stacking the Shelves

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! The meme is now hosted by Tynga's Reviews and Reading Reality.

Another meh week of meh-ness. Nothing exciting of note happened. Nothing good on the job front. I think the few companies I interviewed with the past two months have conveniently forgot to let me know one way or another if I'm in the next round or whatever. Sigh...seriously hate when they say that and they never actually do it!

I felt like this week was more about buying bookish and other cool items. Plus...I may have gone on a rare online shopping binge this weekend!

Here's what I bought:

Capturing the Devil by Kerri Maniscalco

For review from the publisher I received:

The Night Country by Melissa Albert (ARC)

THANK YOU Flatiron Books!

The bookish goodies obtained this week:

this oh so cute bookworm shirt made from books!! Another Shirt.Woot purchase wisely made!

a delightful Caraval pin from Brio and Brandish! I saw this one before but it was sold out, I was excited when it came back in stock and immediately purchased it!

My preorder swag from Sarah Henning's Sea Witch Rising! I got a delightful postcard and a signed book plate!

THANK YOU Sarah!

I was just starting to wonder what happened to this pillow case I sent away for after a preorder with Underlined Books! But it finally came!

THANK YOU Underlined!

My non bookish items...mostly Funko Pops that I couldn't live without! Lol.

a Box Lunch EXCLUSIVE Funko Pop! A purple flocked Scooby Doo! He was too cute and fuzzy so I ordered him as soon as I could!

so yeah...I couldn't help but adore the 30th Anniversary Funko Pop of The Little Mermaid! Kiss the Girl was one of my favorite songs from the movie...they were all good actually! Plus this little scene was just so cute! And it reminds me of the ride at Disney World, so PLUS!

And that was it for me this week! A pretty good week, though not for my credit card...and I didn't even tell you what major purchase just pushed that out of whack! Lol.

What did you all get this week?

  4. Ugh, it's so frustrating when they say they'll let you know and never do. I hope you find something soon! I'm reading Capturing the Devil right now and it's so good!
