Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly blog post by Jill over at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights releases we're eagerly awaiting.
The thrilling finale to the New York Times bestselling Young Elites series from “hit factory” Marie Lu.
There was once a time when darkness shrouded the world, and the darkness had a queen.
Adelina Amouteru is done suffering. She’s turned her back on those who have betrayed her and achieved the ultimate revenge: victory. Her reign as the White Wolf has been a triumphant one, but with each conquest her cruelty only grows. The darkness within her has begun to spiral out of control, threatening to destroy all that she’s achieved.
Adelina’s forced to revisit old wounds when a new danger appears, putting not only Adelina at risk, but every Elite and the very world they live in. In order to save herself and preserve her empire, Adelina and her Roses must join the Daggers on a perilous quest—though this uneasy alliance may prove to be the real danger.
Bestselling author Marie Lu concludes Adelina's story with this haunting and hypnotizing final installment to the Young Elites series.
So excited for this one because it means I can finally read The Rose Society! Yes, I still haven't read it! If memory recalls, people were talking about yet another killer cliffhanger and since I was on a binge of making myself wait to finish all these trilogies or start these duologies once they were all set and out, I am going to have my work cut out for me starting this fall and all the way into next year! Let's have at it!! LOL!

The end of a trilogy. A bittersweet moment. I'm trying really hard to stick to stand alone novels. Unfortunately, many of the books I enjoy don't fall into that category. It's hard to keep up when there are so many great series out there.
ReplyDeleteOooo! I'm reading this one soon, and I can't wait. It's probably going to be extremely heartbreaking but I am ready. :D I hope you enjoy this book when you get a chance to read it!
