Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
This week's topic is: LOVE FREEBIE: Top Ten Books I'll Always Love
10. NOCTURNE by Syrie James--despite carrying an emotional scar that will never heal...this is a favorite book of mine! I only recently learned that Syrie had plans for a sequel...though I have no clue what happened to those plans, but it sadly seems Syrie has moved on.
9. HALFWAY TO THE GRAVE by Jeaniene Frost--who could forget out introduction to Cat and Bones that would soon spawn a world of vampires and others who would become fast favorites!
8. OBSIDIAN by Jennifer L. Armentrout--a lot of first in series books become my favorite for sentimental reasons and this is definitely one of them!!
7. 13 TO LIFE by Shannon Delany--one word: WEREWOLVES!!
6. POISON STUDY by Maria V. Snyder--I think this might have been my first fantasy book. And omg did it spawn a love for all things magical and snarky!! It also led to my friendship with Maria herself! I've read and loved all her books since this one!
5. OLD MAGIC by Marianne Curley--this was likely my first time travel book and possibly one with witches minus Harry Potter! Another great love with this one!
4. CARAVAL by Stephanie Garber--we'll call this Caraval row! Lol!
3. LEGENDARY by Stephanie Garber--I think I might have enjoyed this one even more than Caraval! Tella was definitely a favorite character of mine!
2. FINALE by Stephanie Garber--and with the way Legendary ended, I NEEDED MORE! Luckily Finale satisfied that need except when it ended, because then, you know, it was over. Lol.
1. DEMON IN MY VIEW by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes--and of course this one is my #1! The one that started it all for me! I will always love this book!
And one more that I didn't include in the TOP TEN because it stands in its own category forever and ever, of course is:
Harry Potter
Other worthy mentions:
And I'll stop myself there...because I'm literally trying to think of others at this very moment of writing this post! Lol!
