This week's topic is: What grabs you and keeps you hooked in a book?
MY ANSWER: A good storyline/plot for sure! That's usually what grabs me first with the blurb! Characters are another must...they must be enjoyable in some fashion. Loving them or loving to hate them! Writing style matters too, as I have to be able to follow and "see" the story happening. I've had books where the style just didn't mesh with me and I wasn't really able to follow what was happening. Can't really recall in what manner this happened in. Or even what books they were. You don't always remember those "not for me" books.
