This week's question is: School is out! What is your favorite Summer Reading book??

MY ANSWER: Hmm..I don't think I really have one. There's always too much to read and never enough time for re-reads or stuff like that! I guess I did enjoy the one summer I read The Count of Monte Cristo, the full version! Other than that it's always a new read from the TBR mountain!

  1. Here! Here! You are so right. There are so many great books out there, and there is never enough time.

  2. Ohhh, The Count of Monte Cristo, honestly I can't remember if I've read it. I think I did, back in like the 7th grade,... or maybe it was the movie? lol. Anyways, I'm with you, I just grab one off Mount TBR and read, I don't do the whole summer reading list thing... well, except for this meme, lol.

    Thanks for swinging by Jess!

  5. Hiya, Jessica! Thanks for visiting my FF! :) I tend to agree with you - there's never enough time to re-read, never mind trying to keep with the TBR pile. I haven't read the book, but loved the movie - yonks ago.

    Have a fabulous weekend. :D

  9. I'm the same way. I'd actually love to take all summer to tackle a heavy classic like Dumas, or maybe War and Peace, but with this mermaid challenge, it's definitely not happening this summer. :D Thanks for stopping by my blogs, Jessica! :D

  11. I'm with you, Jessica! Too many books, too little time. I will say that I do tend to read lighter fare in the summer...even if I never visit a beach. :) Happy Friday!

  19. LOL, Jess, so boring! You need some lively fiction. Although The Count of Monte Cristo IS pretty lively :D

  20. I like The Count of Monte Cristo as well. There's really not enough time to reread books or read books.

  21. I am ashamed to admit I have never read The Count of Monte Cristo, it sounds great! I need to read more classics! Ugh. Right now I am still trying to finish Romeo and Juliet though. But, seriously, how can anyone speak in such LONG, complicated, overdramatic sentences without being interrupted? Maybe people were just more polite back in Shakespeare's day, and really bored... It is getting better though. Kinda sucks you in... I need to try to get into more classics!

Old Follower :) Thanks for stopping by my FF, and reminding me to read Count of Monte Cristo! Sorry for the long, probably boring comment. (Hey, maybe me and Shakespeare are related! That would be epic. He is a literary genius after all. And I read his biography.)

Sorry!!! I tend to overthink and overwrite
