That's right! 5 years ago today my little blog was born into the blogosphere! It wasn't very big at the time and that first year was pretty dark. Those reviews or posts or whatever we want to call them were scary. I read them over from time to time and think...what was going on in my head at the time?!
My blog started 5 years ago today because Rachel Vincent was having a contest to win some of her books signed or the next book signed...I can't remember which. And you had to post a review of Pride at the time or something to help promote it. I think I posted something on Amazon, possibly Borders too and then I thought a blog would get me another entry, so I stumbled upon Blogger and created my blog! Since Pride was such a GREAT read, I thought why not call my blog that?!
And so my blog was born! And I met lots of great blogging friends along the way. Some who even helped me with the look and layout of my blog. Basically helping me finding websites and whatnot and walking me through some design steps. I've also made blogging friends by following other blogs and reading their reviews and adding to my TBR pile! Heck, it's because of blogging that I even HAVE a TBR pile!
And so, it's with great pleasure that I celebrate this 5 year anniversary with you my blogging friends and followers with a contest! Enjoy!
