Top 5 Sundays is a weekly blog meme created by Larissa at Larissa's Bookish Life.
Here's a little info about the meme taken from Larissa's blog:
Every Sunday I will post a TOP 5 list on the blog. It can be about anything and every week I'll have a new theme {You can vote on next week’s theme on my left sidebar!} and I will ad the Mr.Linky bellow the post so you can do a list with the theme and add you link to it.
Rules:
1 - Write a post listing your TOP 5 choices within the theme I chose (or was chosen on a poll) for the week.
2 - Mention this Blog on the post and link back to it.
3 - Fell free to use the Feature's image (there is a smaller size version of it bellow)
4 - After you've finished your post, add you link (of the post, not your blog's main page) to the Mr.Linky at the end of that week's post.
5 – If you don’t have a blog to post, just leave your list in the comments =)
This week's topic is: Best Covers of 2011!
*in no particular order
Earth Witch series by Lee Roland
Lots of cover love here! This one just screams Urban Fantasy to me! And as you know I loooooove Urban Fantasy!
The Wolf Springs Chronicles by Nancy Holder & Debbie Viguie
Totally love this one too! It's so breathtaking! I cannot wait to read it! Nancy and Debbie are one of my fave writing duos!
The Hollows series by Kim Harrison
So it may not be a "storytelling" book, but I loved this one! And the cover is just plain awesome! Love it!!
Healer series by Maria V. Snyder
Okay, so this is the UK cover, but it still comes out this year, at the end of the month in fact. I just totally loved this cover. The US one is pretty, but there's just something about the UK one that I can't help but <3 more!
13 to Life series by Shannon Delany
No, you're still in the right Top 5 Sundays post, I'm just using these as my choices again. And yes, I'm "cheating" if you choose to call it that. But I can't help it! I love this series and I love the covers too! They are always so gorgeous!
SPECIAL MENTIONS
There's no way I could narrow it down to only like 5. There's hundreds of great covers in 2011!
