Amanda Carlson contributes yet another addition to the Sin City Collectors Novella Series and All In was as incredible as her previous installments!
One of the things that I LOVE about this series so far is how all the characters from past novellas are still around. In this one we get to see Neve, Jake, Diesel and Sofia again as secondary characters. I don't know why, but it always makes me giddy when that happens. Same series, same world, same city, but yet sooo much goes on in Sin City as this series will tell you. Having these people being friends just makes it more enjoyable somehow!
In this one we get Ginger, a succubus that we met in Ante Up working with Diesel's brother Luke in order to track down her missing brother. Another thing that I love about this series is that it's such an incredible story in so few pages! There's no insta-love here! Oh no, that'd be too easy! While we do get that insta--attraction, there's no flowerly words of lovey-dovey-ness going on here! In fact, Ginger is trying adamantly to keep Luke away from her romantically. Being a succubus is dangerous for romance and she doesn't want to be a threat to Luke despite her growing feelings for him.
While trying to fight the feelings between each other, there's still the matter of rescuing her brother and whatever danger he might be in. But what she ends up finding is far worse than she could expect! *cue-dramatic-music*
A truly enjoyable read! I love being able to read these babies in one sitting! Makes me feel accomplished that I have one less read in the ol' TBR Mountain of Doom! (because yes, it's gotten to the point where it needs that name! And remembering all the books on my kindle I have yet to read is even harder because I can't see those everyday!)
All In was a fast paced and incredible read with even more incredible characters! This is one series that I recommend to all paranormal fans, because it's Vegas baby...paranormal style! ;P
