I'm going to BEA next year!! So excited! Been waiting years for it to leave NYC, because, yeah...I feel intimidated by that city! LOL. Imagine that huh?
Anyways, I've already registered myself for the conference AND booked a hotel room at a hotel that's like a mile or two away from the convention hotel. Saved over $100 per night by doing this, so yeah, I'm hoofing it! LOL.
But I am TOTALLY up for a roommate! I am new to BEA and would love to have a buddy for this! A partner in crime, as it were! Heehee! Getting excited. Already tried talking one of my friends into going, but she can't as she's saving up for a trip to Florida, which I totally understand. I mean the Happiest Place on Earth or BEA?! I mean it's definitely a toss up, but can see why she'd choose Disney instead! ;)
So here's my first call for a roommate! Anyone interested please drop me an email! You can find said email address in my review policy tab! Tootles!
ON ANOTHER NOTE:
Also, again, anyone going to YALLFest this weekend, drop me a line! Already heard from a few of you and would love to meet up and say hey if possible! I've worked out a tentative game plan for myself for the big weekend, and for the moment it seems only 2 authors are signing at the exact same time clear across the way from each other! Feeling somewhat hopeful about my prospects and getting all the books signed! :D
I hope you can find a roommate soon! I'm already going with a group, so I'm all sorted but we'll see you around then!! Prepare yourself Chicago, the bookworms are descending upon you!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to BEA in Chicago, too, Jessica, but I already have a roommate. I do hope we'll be able to catch up! Our hotel is a little bit farther from the convention center too, and it was a lot cheaper than those that are just across the street... Hopefully, we'll still be able to walk after those full days!
