Back to That's a Fact Jack: A Collection of Utterly Useless Information [Updated] by Harry Bright & Jakob Anser! This book continues to amaze me with these factoids!!


"There are roughly 144,000 mosquitoes for every person on Earth."

Terrible. Simply terrible.


"Mosquito repellent doesn't repel mosquitoes; it blocks their sensors so they don't know you are there."

 Are we sure it really works? Cause I get bit even when I do spray myself. It's like that find that one teeny, tiny spot that might have been missed!


"Malaria mosquitoes are attracted to ripe Limburger cheese and smelly feet. The odor-protein given off by the cheese was found to be structurally similar to human sweat."

Just gross!!!

    You make me laugh, Jessica! I always seem to be the one who gets bitten the most by mosquitoes! Maybe that is why I like winter when the little pests are not around?

    Mosquitoes love my daughter. they always head for her first. She eats a lot of cheese.... wonder if its correlated.
